WATERBURY >> Jenna Bike and Lindsey Savko both scored goals and St. Joseph’s girls soccer team dominated Suffield to win the Class L championship Saturday at Municipal Stadium.
The title is St. Joseph’s first since 2013 (also against Suffield) and fourth overall. St. Joseph outshot Suffield 20-3. Bike scored in the first half and Savko all but put it out of reach in the second half.

St. Joseph finished its season 22-1, its only loss coming to Ridgefield in the FCIAC Championship game. Suffield, which had allowed just three goals all year, fell to 19-1.
Suffield goaltender Jessica Cunningham made nine saves. St. Joseph goaltender Veronical O’Rourke only needed to make one.
