LITCHFIELD >> Wamogo’s boys soccer team sailed through the Class S second round with a 3-1 win over St. Paul Catholic at Wamogo High School Thursday afternoon.
Mevlan Lebiti opened with a goal for Wamogo midway through the firt half, then added a second eight minutes into the second half.
Kevin Fenn added the third goal with 26 minutes left.
Seconds later, St. Paul’s Chandler Wright put the Falcons (No. 29) on the board.
St. Paul, ranked No. 13, goes to the Quarterfinals at No. 5 Notre Dame-Fairfield Saturday afternoon.

No. 4 Lewis Mills 6, No. 13 Wilcox Tech 1 >> Joe Fortuna led the way with two goals at Nassahegan Field with single goals by Lorenz Gunzl, Austin Gilbert, Nick Lutrzykowsk and Bryce Duda right behind him.
