David Walker’s goal off a corner kick with 16:57 remaining in the first half held up as Brookfield defeated Ellington, 1-0, in the Class M championship at Waterbury’s Municipal Stadium Saturday.
Brookfield had two other goals disallowed due to offsides calls, but dominated the attack and prevented Ellington from getting the equalizer. Ellington had a chance to tie on a corner kick in the second half.
