2015 All Area Soccer MVP Megan Kikosicki, East Haven.

  • Stats: Finished with 32 goals and seven assists to lead East Haven to its first division title (SCC Oronoque), school record for wins (12) and first state tournament victory. Also East Haven’s all-time leading scorer.
  • Honors: The SCC and Greater New Haven Soccer Officials Association Player of the Year. Four-time All-SCC Oronoque Division, three-time coaches all-state and two-time All-Area selection.
  • Off the field: Participates in both indoor and outdoor track.
  • Up next: Will play soccer at the University of New Hampshire.

  • Stats: Team went 12-5-2, reaching double digits for victories for the first time in school history. Also the school’s first winning season, division championship (Southern Connecticut Conference Oronoque) and first CIAC tournament victory against Bristol Easter Formerly coached at Sacred Heart Academy for 10 seasons and earned his 100th career win this season.
  • Off the field: Special education teacher at East Haven High.

  • Stats: Led the SCC Hammonasset Division champions in scoring with 10 goals and seven assists. Helped the Indians win their third straight SCC division crown.
  • Honors: Two-time All-SCC Hammonasset Division selection. Coaches all-state pick. Golden Boot Award recipient.
  • Off the field: Member of the school’s Peer Ministry, Pilgrim Fellowship and Action Against Hunger Club.

  • Stats: Four-year starter had a 0.81 goals against average and posted eight shutouts for the Tigers. Finished with 30 career shutouts.
  • Honors: Two-time All-Southern Connecticut Conference Hammonasset Division selection.
  • Off the field: Honors student, member of the safe Rides Club and volunteers regularly for the Madison’s Buddy Walk and triathlon.
  • Up next: Will play soccer at Southern Connecticut State University.

  • Stats: Finished with 16 goals and five assists for the Titans. Had seven goals and three assist as a freshman.
  • Honors: All-Southern Connecticut Conference Housatonic Division selection.
  • Off the field: Honor roll student who helps special needs children learn how to play soccer and volunteers at an area food bank. Selected to the U.S. Training Center Combine in Millersville, Pa., earlier this year.

  • Honors: Two-time All-Area and First Team All-Shoreline Conference selection. Also a coaches all-state pick this season.
  • Off the field: Captain of the basketball team. Member of the school’s National Honors Society and French Honors Society.
  • Up next: Looking to play at either Endicott or Roger Williams next fall.

  • Stats: Finished with 20 goals for the SCC Housatonic Division champions. Compiled 43 career goals.
  • Honors: Top vote getter in the SCC Housatonic Division this year. Two-time all division selection. Coaches all-state pick.
  • Off the field: Also plays basketball for the Spartans.
  • Up next: Considering playing soccer next fall at the University of Hartford and Western Connecticut State.

  • Stats: Three-year starter finished with eight goals and six assists for the Hilltoppers.
  • Honors: Two-time WNEPSSA and Western New England All-League and All-Star selection.
  • Off the field: Cheshire resident helps raise money for first generation college attendees in third world developing countries. Also plays basketball.

  • Off the field: Member of the school’s Spanish Club and Environmental Club and is also a St. Thomas Youth Group member.

  • Stats: Finished with 23 goals and eight assists to help lead the Gaelettes to the SCC tournament title. Her 86 shots this season set a new school record and her 35 goals now has her fourth all time.
  • Honors: All-SCC Housatonic Division selection.
  • Off the field: Member of Spanish National Honors Society and Spanish Club, Best Buddies, student council and is also a volunteer soccer coach.
  • Up next: Will be a captain next season.

  • Stats: Finished with 18 goals and 12 assists for the Chargers. Now has 60 career goals in just three seasons.
  • Honors: Three-time All-Naugatuck Valley League and coaches all-state and two-time All-Area selection.
  • Off the field: Member of the school’s student government and student ambassadors.
  • Up next: Verbally committed to play soccer at the University of Rhode Island.

  • Off the field: In the school’s React Club.
  • Up next: Considering Endicott, North Carolina-Wilmington and East Carolina.

  • Off the field: Member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society, Mercy Ambassadors and Students Against Destructive Decisions.
  • Up next: Looking to play at Bates next fall.
